The valve should be fine, throw in a couple of new sealing rings, they measure approximately 65 mm in diameter. Thank you Today I ordered 3 x rubber sealing rings from volkswagen I will let you know how I get on when I receive them. I suspect the EGR valve will need a good clean out inside! :whistl...

Oh I forgot to say, I cleaned the engine when I changed the oil. Looking ok!

Oh of course it's an EGR valve, thanks, I had to buy a couple of these for an A4 I used to have

Hello So I changed the oil on my 3L on Sunday and noticed there is oil at the back of the valve (?) next to the turbo Please can you offer any advice as to what this part is and if I should replace it, or the turbo, or both? I fitted them at the weekend... they seem fairly stiff for a lightweight car but I have them on my 944 and they are perfect

I have just bought a Lupo 3L from Germany and am going to see if I can get it remapped here in England.

I have used a company called Angel Tuning before on my Audi A4 tdi's (140 and 170bhp) and have been very pleased... I will let you know how I get on!
